Good experiences...

I always hear and see comments about the negatives of dealing with Turners, and I get it. I personally wont go back to the Temecula store without a REALLY good reason, but they aren't all bad!

I do A LOT of PPT's at Turners, especially this year. The Chino store by far is the quickest and most organized store I've dealt with! I've been in there for PPT at least a dozen times in the last 1-2 months and these guys ALWAYS take good care of me!

This week I did one at Turners in Orange, showed up at 7pm (with three guns to PPT) and Mike took great care of us, regardless of timing! It was the second time I have used the Orange store (in June) and I have no complaints, Mike helped me both times and was professional to a "T" my next "on Roster" will be from him for sure!

I had a decent experience at Reseda, considering it's LA city! A couple fast transactions in Pasadena and for the most always have good luck in Corona.

I am in no way endorsing anything or anyone...just wanted to share my POSITIVE experiences, I know these guys probably loathe the PPT, especially someone like me who frequently comes in so I am just trying to help in some way...

I was at Chino for a pick up a couple weeks ago, this @## clown walks in as I am just finishing up. He's on his phone (hate that!) when the guy behind the counter asks to help him out he puts his finger up (signaling hold on ) than a moment later says "I am hear to pick up." When asked for paper work says "I don't have it" (really!?) so the Turners employee asks "what are you picking up" he tells him, employee walks away to get it, returns, than :@## clown: says I have (don't remember - second gun) to pick up also (while still messing with cell phone) ughh...

I too have read the bad reviews of some for Turner's and I suppose you are going to get that with any business--things sometimes don't go down well.

I have bought 2 handguns and a rifle from Turner's Chino this year and have had nothing but positive experiences--professional, courteous and thorough.

I just did a PPT at the Turner's in San Marcos and it went well too.

Zero complaints here about Turner's.

Bad PPT experiences from years past keep me from doing them at a Turners ever again plus even in the last few years I've still heard stories like about how they will claim dros system is down. It is good this seems to be improving but in any case I don't want to deal with all their extra CYA Byzantine non required by law paperwork.

I've done PPT's at mom and pop FFL's at non peak times and fully prepared and been done in 10-15 mins. It is just common sense that the more I'm in shop the more likely I am to buy other guns and items. Do I buy something every time I do a PPT? No but sometimes I will.

Recently a couple of times I've done PPT's (not at Turners) they went OK but I could feel the passive aggressive behavior and scowls from the help. None had the balls to refuse the PPT or say something to my face but it did not make me feel inclined to make an additional purchase.

Good on Turners if PPT behaviors are improving but I think I'll continue to do them elsewhere which I'm sure they love but keeps me away more often and my business to other shops. I still buy at Turners but not as much as I did when I was younger.

+1 on the Chino store. Try to work with the younger guys, most of them are with just a couple older men that come in on occasion. The young guys know whats what and the current happenings with gun culture. The older guys seem to be retired and rather not be at home but they are always tapping the younger guys to help them out on every transaction.

Typical Turners stock and layout but the staff make it one of the better ones.

I will never step foot in the Reseda location again. Oxnard has been good the past few times I went in, just depends what time it is. I will pretend I didn't hear my number if the older guy with glasses and a beard calls it. He is too informative and takes too damn long.

Bought an M&P Shield at the Oxnard store today. Good experience. Just wanted to say that.
