Would it be possible to do something like this? If done at max extension nothing else would need to be done.
I'm thinking variant/custom length ones could be based on the number of clicks and perhaps grabbing onto the sling slot tail end. The cross section of the part "grabbing" the inside of the stock would come up like an I beam on the top end or probably better described as an T or Y (or more accurately be something like:
Would be flared out at the front and rear of that little "pocket" as well, to "cushion" someone trying to forcibly collapse the stock.
