I did an SSE pickup last Sunday morning.
The guy helping me was quite surprised that I locked up my SS handgun before leaving the store. He even said something to the effect of, 'you know you're coming right back don't you?'
It dawned on me on my short walk out the door before returning that on many occasions that every SSE pickup that I've seen at Riflegear the purchaser is simply told to take the firearm package outside and then return for their smithing work.
Obviously the legality of having a concealed & unlocked firearm, in public, in a city is on the buyer; but it seems like it would be a nice service if you at least warned the buyer.
What if some evil nasty DoJ agent was sitting in the parking lot?
Anyhow - not trying to harp or bash - I'm just passing on my thoughts. All of my transactions at Riflegear (and my wife's) have been great. Excellent Service + Reasonable Pricing + Great Selection = Great Store in my book!
