    Buying a completed AR lower

    Hi RG,

Can you tell me the current law this year purchasing one of your completed AR lowers? Can I still purchase one with just showing my drivers license during this year 2014? I do know the laws will change begining in the 2015.

    Hey Mail clerk,

As far as we know, nothing is changing in 2015. We will photocopy your drivers license and submit the DROS process and start the ten day wait. This includes a background check and, starting in 2014 for long guns, registers the firearm to you.

If your address on your DL isn't current, you will need another government issued document that shows the true address at which you reside (vehicle registration, government utilities, speeding tickets, jury summons, mail from government agencies, etc).

    Thanks!
