With the limited number of SSE kits you guy have, what is the current approximate wait time before DROS/SSE can begin?

I think that would be dependent upon the type of gun. Before AB1964 was signed I was quoted 2-3 weeks for 9mm Glocks, but I'm sure the times have changed. I've noticed items previously "in stock" for weeks have suddenly gone out of stock since the bill was signed. -
I've got two Sigs already purchased online waiting to be jailed there. If I can only DROS one every thirty days, I need to consider other dealers for other purchases until its my turn.I think that would be dependent upon the type of gun. Update:
Got home last night and had a message on my phone saying I could come in and begin jailing. That would be for my first online order from the evening of 7/6, so just over two weeks...not bad
But yeah, the wait will probably grow exponentially now AB1964 is signed.Last edited by 1OCTrojan; 07-22-2014, 7:03 AM.Comment

It is currently around 2-3 weeks depending on caliber, but there's no real way to provide a definitive ETA because so many factors contribute to this (not the least of which is how long people take to pick up from DROS...the minimum is ten days, but some people do push it to the maximum 30 days before signing out their SSE kit).
Sorry, I wish there was a more definitive answer.
Thanks!

Just got an update from the guy that handles SSE. He said it is basically about a week right now. The biggest problem though is that a LOT of people can't DROS when we call them because they are in a 1 in 30 wait from a previous purchase, so we have to skip them and go to the next name on the list.Comment

Can we all agree that you don't want to be THAT guy?It is currently around 2-3 weeks depending on caliber, but there's no real way to provide a definitive ETA because so many factors contribute to this (not the least of which is how long people take to pick up from DROS...the minimum is ten days, but some people do push it to the maximum 30 days before signing out their SSE kit).

Don't be that one a**hole who lags it for all of us... I'm one week in and I'm anxious to get that call anytime now!"Adversity Introduces Us To Ourselves"

I done a few SSEs with RG. I make sure to put in the comments section when I can DROS to help them schedule kits a bit better. So far they've been right on the expiration of my 1 in 30 day window!!

Ya my SSE experience was kinda a bummer. Went in to do my first SSE. Asked befor hand if the SSE was all ready to go for the gun I wanted. Was told yes. (Asked since while I was waiting ppl were getting told the glock kits were all being used) Then got hit with cash only for SSE guns as I went to pay... Ok no problem. Borrowed the $1500 + cash from people I was with. Then I was told it's gunna be "2 weeks wait to get a call to come down to even start the dros"
What's kinda weird was they refused to let me even see or hold the gun for 2 seconds I was buying.
Not upset, just after each thing I was told bad news..Last edited by xxINKxx; 09-25-2014, 12:18 PM."If a law is unjust, a man is not only right to disobey it, he is obligated to do so." - Thomas JeffersonComment

Cash only for SSE? What if you purchase online and then go into store to DROS? You have to refund you CC and pay cash? I got 2 SSE left, and I am considering getting one here since down the street, but I prefer to use my CC.Comment
