    Malware Detected

Just a heads up, went to your guy's website and my antivirus blocked a bunch of malware coming from your page. Might want to get that checked out. For the rest of you, be wary until they are able to look into the issue and correct it.

Avast blocks a page from opening but won't tell me what it is other than malware.

That is probably a false-positive from the AV software. We have an EV SSL and our site is scanned for PCI DSS compliance on a monthly basis. I use Avast at home and Webroot at the office, and just ran three different online website malware scanners and none of them came up with anything. I'll keep checking it though.

works ok for me using ESET.
Been gone too long. It's been 15 to 20 years since i had to shelf my guns. Those early years sucked.
I really miss the good old Pomona Gun Shows.

To help you troubleshoot it, Here is a screenshot of what I get. Happens on both Firefox (v28.0) and Chrome (v 33.0.1750.154 m).

It seems to be an issue with cert for www.display.com. When I go to that site I get this:

          Hope this helps!

Just opened www.riflegear.com on my computer (Mac) running FF v28 and McAfee. No issues. Also clicked the display.com link and did not get any warnings.

I don't have any knowledge of the www.display.com website or why any link to it would be on riflegear.com. I just ran a hyperlink crawler on my website and it didn't find a reference to www.display.com anywhere on my site. Please try clearing your browser cache and then see if it still happens.

              Thanks for checking on this.

Alright, with a little bit more digging I find that the reseller ratings seal on the home page performs a redirect to this URL:

Which is oddly similar to www.display.com, but is different. When I put the link above in my browser it just redirects back to our reseller ratings seal that is on our home page and I do not see the cert warning like you get when you go to https://www.display.com.

We have been resellerratings members for quite awhile and I trust that their widgets and assurance seals are legit, so I don't think the problem is on their end.

Update: I checked this again from home since my home PC has Avast and I am now seeing the warning on https://www.dsply.com. I checked the URL with an online scanner and it comes up clean so it is most likely just a false-positive from Avast and I have reported the error. Most likely Avast will correct this with the next update.

You can verify by scanning the https://www.dsply.com URL with virustotal:

My bad on the link. If you look at the screenshot it is dsply.com. I think it got auto corrected in my previous post.

I did some digging also. It does appear to be with the current update to Avast. I get it on both my desktop and laptop (with updated Avast), but my wife's laptop (Avast not updated to newest) does not get the popup.

There is also a discussion regarding dsply.com going on in the Avast forum.

Sorry for the false alarm. My punishment will be to come in and buy some 308 ammo from you guys.

Alright well I'm glad we were able to figure this out to some extent. If you guys have some .22LR in stock I'll come buy some as punishment

Thanks for bringing it to my attention. I got a response back from resellerratings that the issue has been corrected so I re-enabled the assurance logos. Let me know if you are still seeing a block.
