Centurion Arms CMR Rail System 7.62

    Hello RG,
I'm interested in the Centurion CMR handguard for my DPMS LR308. Do the top rails of the CMR line up with top of Low Profile DPMS 308 upper receiver? I could not tell from product description, can you confirm?
    Thanks.

I don't have a 308 DPMS upper to check it with, but I'll email Centurion Arms to find out. I imagine it should work fine with the latest railed upper from DPMS. From what I understand the difference in height between the latest and earlier is only .060 so should be within the range of adjustment of your front sight post if that is the case.

It lines up with the DPMS low-profile uppers that have been manufactured since 08/2009. If you are not sure about your upper, check this info:

I picked up the 14" CMR last Friday. The top rails of the CMR are approximately 1/8" higher than my DPMS LR308 (my DPMS upper was purchased new last year).
But the CMR top rails lines up perfectly with my JD Machine billet upper. BTW, easy install since barrel nut does not have teeth to get in the way of gas tube.

          Thanks for the link.
