Hello I am new so be patient with me if this question has been asked before. I am interested in the Scorpion p226 9mm this is going to be my 2nd gun that I would use to take to the range or HD so hopefully this is a good choice.You have it on your web site in stock but it is not cal version..Can I buy the one with 15 rds have the SSE done at your shop have the mag switch to 10 rds?Then when I receive it have it put back to original configuration except mags.How much is it to SSE & kit?

Hector,

Please purchase the non-California version and select "in-store pick up". In the "notes" section, please specify that you need to do an SSE. We have a finite number of SSE kits and they're all currently being used by other customers in DROS. As soon as we get to your place in line, one of our employees will contact you and instruct you to come in and start your DROS. On your pick up day, we will have you sign out the firearm, leave the showroom, and walk back in. We will then convert your single shot pistol back into a semi-automatic 10 round pistol.

Thank you I will do it this week I did notice I might just get the non cal version enhanced elite if I buy this & SSE it will not have that ugly LCI & mag disconnect will it? Thanks again

Thank you went to your shop today very impress with everyone there.Gave him info on the p226 enhanced elite which I ordered online this evening. I requested like you said on the special notes SSE required on this pistol & chose a store pickup.Now my question how long is the wait be until I can get the SSE kit& start doing dros I am very anxious to take this to the range next month?

Glad to hear it, Hector! Thank you for the positive feedback.
You are number seven in line for the P226 SSE kit. The amount of time it takes really depends on how fast the people in front of you pick up their guns since they are legally allowed to take anywhere from ten to thirty days to sign it out. Most people come in on their tenth or eleventh day though.

So I guess it would. Be safe to say I can probably purchase another pistol while I am waiting & should not effect me as far as 30 day purchase?Also the original 15 mags that came with the gun could I have those in rebuilt kits & purchase 10 mags from Riflegear instead when I do the store pickup if that is possible?

Wait time is about two weeks now that the gov veto the SSE killer.

It varies from pistol to pistol. It is also contingent on how long people leave their guns in DROS. While most people sign out between days 10-12, they're legally allowed to take up to 30 days. Sometimes the customer can't make it back in for a few weeks and that ties up the kits. It makes an accurate timeline very, very hard to predict, but we can usually tell you your place in line if you've placed an order.
