    warranty question on lower

hi I got a lower from RG, later as I started to look closely at it there is a very noticeable blem. How or who would ever warranty a lower? do I mail it to the manufacturer? would RG help? Do they ever swap out lower for a non defective one? does it have to go to 10 day jail again?

    waiting for advice...
    thanks !

If you have already signed out the receiver then it would have to be re-DROS'ed (fill out another 4473, another DROS, $25 DROS fee, and another 10 day wait). Unfortunately it is not as easy as swapping out any other part. This is why it is very important to look over the firearm carefully before you sign out, as it is WAY easier to make a swap before you sign it out. If it is something the mfg can repair, without changing the serial number, they can send it back directly to you. If it involves getting a new serial number, you have to do everything all over again.
