    Shark has frickin laser beams!

I saw these items at SHOT show and I thought they were pretty cool and at a reasonable price. These laser sights include a rail mount, battery, and pressure switch. The red laser version is priced at $79.99 and the green laser version is $143.99. I also have laser bore-sights in 223 and 7.62x39 for $39.99.

Can these be mounted onto sharks? CA Compliant sharks that is, if so i know a certian Dr. Evil that would love a case of these.

Yes, but in CA a shark cannot have both a laser and a dorsal fin that "protrudes conspicuously above the surface of the water". Such an appearance is frightening to the general public so that means the laser must be mounted on the pectoral fin, which is usually concealed beneath the waves. Unfortunately that renders these lasers inoperable since they are not water proof, merely water resistant.

          How's their reputation and reliability.

I just saw these on your sight and thought I'd ask.

I have the green one on my AR and i have to say its darn wright incredible, in broad day light it is seen over a hundred yards away if you can even see a small dot at that distance with your own eyes. at night it projects a beam yes a constant beam over a mile away , i panned it on a low flying plane at night just for a second to see its range, the darn things just fun to play with. my cats love it and chase the beam for hours, i believe the green lazer is many times brighter than the red hence the price but its worth it.

Both red and green laser sight come with limited lifetime warranty. Warranty registration card is in box. Manufacturer said they will either repair or replace a defective item. Just do not beat it up with hammer or make sure your dog/cat doesn't find it as a chew toy. My pooches have an obsession with it

I will also add that I attached one to my carbine build but have not actually taken it to the range yet. You zero it through two set screws that will adjust the windage/elevation (A, B) depending on the orientation of how it is installed. I zeroed it at home by merely aligning it with my EOTech reticle at the farthest distance down the hall. Zeroing was simple but I have not shot it yet so I will report back about how well it holds zero after I get it to the range. The only thing I find a little hokey about it, is that it has these fake (A, B) tick marks on it that you would assume are used to zero. Those rings don't even move and I wish they didn't even print that on it. Still, the function seems pretty good so far.

Size of a laser dot has nothing to do with whether or not you can see it. It's purely a function of intensity. You can't see it at distance because the scattered light drops off with distance as a squared function. So the light you can see at 100yds is 1/100th what you see at 10yds.

A 5mW green laser looks brighter than a 5mW red laser because the eye's response is many times more sensitive at that particular green color than it is for the red. The red is actually putting out more light at the same power than the green, we just see so much better.

I think those marks are meant to look like this from Surefire:

I'll be waiting on your review. I've been waiting for something fun that can hold up.

                        how long is the sale

I dunno, I've never been much for guns. I mean, sure, we have the usual gun by the door, another near the TV, one in the kitchen, and another in the bedroom...and several others laying around. For the most part though, we keep our home free of guns. We are peace loving folks.

Actually that is our regular price compared to MSRP. I need to tweak the prompts a bit - sorry for the confusion.
