    Colt SP901

This may have been covered already, but will Riflegear be accepting orders for the new Colt SP901 currently or in the future?

    Hey Kauf,
As far as we know the Colt SP901 isn't in full production yet.

    Thanks!

Ratworx is selling LE901's. Colt dumped the SP prefix on 6920's and variants, right? So the question is, did Colt also dump the SP prefix on 901's?

Latest word is that some 901s are now shipping. We are checking into it right now.

We did receive a couple of the first 100 to enter the commercial market and we looked into making it CA-compliant. It isn't difficult to do, but it does require a permanent modification to the ambi side of the magazine catch. I couldn't bring myself to cut the magazine catch on these limited 1 of 100 models that come with a letter of authenticity from Colt. I placed the first one on GunBroker and if you REALLY want one feel free to bid on it, but know that the magazine catch will be modified so that if you ever want to return it to a non-CA configuration, you will have to purchase a new magazine catch from Colt. My suggestion would be to wait until they are more readily available, but here you go:
