Question about muzzle/upper work.

How much does riflegear charge for installing this muzzle device:

AND, if anybody working at riflegear actually knows, how much does the Yankee Hill Phantom muzzle brake weigh? I think it's less than 3 ounces, but can't be sure.

Also, is riflegear still operating at their Costa Mesa location or have they moved out completely?

We are not going to move until probably the end of October.

If your barrel is 16" (flash-hider not welded) then installation would only be $5. I don't know the weight but i think you are right that it is less than 3oz. It should weight a bit more than the A2, but not much.

Hi Davy,

If you buy the muzzle brake from us we'd be happy to install it for free. Just bring your upper with you when you buy. I weighed the brake without the crush washer and the scale jumps between 2.9 and 3.0 ounces.

As for our location... we haven't moved yet. In fact we're not looking to be moved in until sometime in October. When the time comes we will make an announcement on our move. Thanks for shopping with us!

Hi Riflegear, I do intend to purchase the muzzle brake (or other similar devices) from your store and have it installed there also.

It doesn't look like my A2 flash hider is welded on to my 16" mid-length from BCM. It's the one in the following link:
