    Noveske carbines...

    Noveske N4 14.5" Light Carbine Low-Profile Upper
    vs
Noveske N4 14.5" Light Carbine VIS Low-Profile Upper

I was wondering what is the difference between these two uppers.
Other than the price difference and slight weight difference...am I getting a superior product with the more expensive one (why?)?

The first uses a VLTOR MUR receiver and SWS rail system.

The second uses a VLTOR VIS monolithic receiver with intigrated rail.

Other than that, there's no difference. The VIS just costs more than the MUR+SWS rail. It takes more material and time to produce.

One is not superior to the other (in my opinion), but rather a decision in personal preference.

if you are going for the carbine.... you wont see a huge diff. between the two. But if you were building a 20" or longer, go with the VIS due to higher degree of rigidity.
