    Tapeswitch died on me

Hey PA team, was wondering if you know of any possible reasons why my tape switch would suddenly stop working? Its the primary arms model for surefire g2 flashlights. It worked fine for a few weeks but has never even been to the range yet. Thought it was the battery but after trying the original tail cap it worked normally again. Thanks!

Thanks for the quick response guys.

I'd still like to know, how durable are these pressure switches? Can they take a decent amount of abuse or should I just be extra careful with it?

Normally hold up well so don't baby it too much, but know like anything mechanical it can fail.
