Md-07 vs md-08

What's the difference? Want it for my AR.

What's a kill flash?

How come there's no option for an md-08 with $5 mount/riser?

Hi Walter,

There a several differences between the two microdots in question.

Bases:
MD-07 = FIXED BASE MICRODOT
MD-08 = REMOVABLE BASE MICRODOT

Power Knob Position:
MD-07 = On the top of the optic
MD-08 = On the right side of the optic

Killflash ((Killflash is to prevent reflecting light from your objective from giving away your position))

MD-07 = Not available
MD-08 = Standard equipment


Main Use:

MD-07 = Pistols, AK rifles, 10/22, shotguns, when low as possible mounting is needed for various uses on non-AR15 rifles. Can be used to good effect on AR15 flat-top uppers with cowitness when used with our UTG thumbscrew mounts.

MD-08 = Predominately AR15s when used with the LHM-1 riser or the American Defense AD-T1-10 riser as an upgrade. CANNOT be used with good effect with the UTG base for cowitness due to thicker base.
