    Green laser or red laser?

When you are purchasing a laser for your firearm there's an inherent tradeoff. If you want a smaller, lighter, cheaper laser, red is best. If you want a laser that is more visible under a wide variety of lighting conditions, you'll need a green laser.

A light with a red laser for under $100 or a light with a green laser costs $150, which one is your choice?

I use both. Both are same size for me. I like green and gave up on red when possible.

      I used lasers for training

      Aim it 8" low

East to spot what a student is doing as you see the dot move.

The student can't see the dot.
Rule 1- ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED

Rule 2 -NEVER LET THE MUZZLE COVER ANYTHING YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO DESTROY (including your hands and legs)

Rule 3 -KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOUR SIGHTS ARE ON THE TARGET

Rule 4 -BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET AND WHAT IS BEYOND IT
      (thanks to Jeff Cooper)

Green has also become my choice when I use a laser. I also find it easier to spot under a variety of light conditions. So my choice is the second option for the cost difference.
