    K-var wont ship

Why does K-var have a vendor forum in Calguns.net if they won't ship to Cali?

K-Var specializes in the AK market offering AK rifles, parts, and accessories. We also now carry AR-15 as well as many other popular calibers and styles of firearms, parts, and accessories.

    They do ship California model

I think their web guy worded it wrong.

If you find a featureless rifle it usually doesn't say they don't ship rifles to ca on that page.

They still have a .223 featureless vepr in stock. Doesn't say no ca sales on the page for it.

I suggested they pull the non ca compliant parts and put a package for Ca together... probably wouldn't hurt if a few others suggested it too.

As far as I can tell (IANAL), the only questionable part is the "flash hider." However, owning a flash hider isn't illegal. Installing one on a post-ban weaponis. In any case, their page for flash hiders don't have a "will not ship to CA" disclaimer, so WTF? Also, if some numbskull were to purchase a flash hider and install it onto a post-ban weapon, I don't think CADOJ would come after K-VAR as there wouldn't be any grounds.

It's really annoying/frustrating as it looks like they have the best kits available, unless I want to go to a local dealer that I believe resells the same kits but marks them up $150.

Less money for them. They don't carry any kits that aren't available to us at places that know the law.
