I was looking at 5.45 russian surp and scolled down and it said no ammunition sales to CA?

Yes they have restricted sales to CA due to Arnold siging off on the Ammo bill for CA.

That law only applies in 2011 for handgun ammunition.

The firms lawyer got back to us earlier this week and we can ship the rifle ammo again minus the restricted areas listed .

Other than the restricted cities, you can still ship handgun ammo until Feb 2011.

10 -4 , we mainly sell rifle ammo at this time and apparently there was also some gray area on the interpretation of what was rifle & hand gun ammo . Has there been a final list stating what they are legally defining as hand gun ammo ?

Throw a poorly written law out there and expect the DAs to iron out the bugs.

But PPT and importation are not regulated... so even after the 2011 ban goes into effect, I'll still be able to drive to Vegas and load up at Cabelas.

Yes the GRAY areas are written for Their interpretation at the time they are taking you to court or someone is trying to sue.

Any exemptions for someone with an FFL03 and COE? Plenty of C&R eligible pistols that shoot 45 and 9 or the lovely 7.62x25....

The law has an FFL03/COE exemption included.
