PTR 32 and Kydex wrap

Just showed my ffl the rifle, kydex is ok, but the flash hider needs to be replaced with a muzzle brake to be considered featureless and truly CA ok. Is that possible on your end?

i already placed a order with atlantic. they will remove the flash hider and put on the grip for you before shipment but you must make sure you let them know beforehand

No. The PTR32 has a proprietary magazine lock that is not interchangeable with AK style rifles

I finally had some time to test out my PTR32 gen II that I was able to purchase through Atlantic Firearms. The rifle came factory with a flash hider but i asked atlantic firearms to remove it and install the grip wrap that was also purchased through atlantic on the rifle before shipping. The rifle was shipped with a factory hardcase from PTR.

I took a few boxes of 7.62x39 with me along with one "euro/chinese" steel magazine and one arsenal magazine.


The steel magazines fits much more tight than any of my other rifles that uses the same magazine and even more so with my arsenal ten round magazine



This PTR32 gen ii comes with a H&K navy polymer trigger group housing


The hand guard is a surplus part off of the G3/HK91 that has been powder coated black to match the rest of the rifle. The hand guard is easily removed by one pin on the front of the hand guard and sits over the 16 inch match grade tapered barrel.


The rifle (stock, trigger group, and receiver) is held in place by two pins that you can push to the side and place in the two holes on the stock.


The PTR32 genii also comes with a rail for those who are interested in installing accessories on their rifles.

The gun seems to be built with very tight tolerances. Fit and finish is excellent!






As you can see, the only changes ive made to this rifle is installing the FSC91 muzzle device


The rifle weighs in around 9.5lbs which helps with lowering felt recoil.



I did have failure to fire for the first 100 rounds probably because i didn't lube it and just took it out the box to shoot. After the initial 100 shots, most if not all the failure to fire issues went away. Even with casual shooting, I did notice the barrel really heating up the handguard to the point that it was almost too hot to hold (it was also 90+ degrees outside). Im really digging this rifle and it is refreshing change from other rifles that uses the same magazine.

My new buddy seems to like the rifle too


All in all, im really loving this rifle. My only grips are that the factory slim handguard gets really hot even with moderate shooting and the trigger pull is very heavy but breaks fairly clean
