So its been out for a little while, what will AR500 Armors response to AR680?
There was talk that ar680 cracks when bent, but these guys at Armour wear say they have a solution?

We've actually had our lightweight steel solution out before the 680 was released. The weight of our III+ LW 10" x 12" ASLC is actually lighter at only 5.5lb.

We've put an extensive amount of development into our III+ ballistics cores, both standard and lightweight variants, and feel we've nailed the balance of performance, weight, and affordable with what we're currently offering. Because we see no overwhelming benefit over our current solution, and it's a material that we've not (or have seen) be thoroughly and extensively tested as body armor, we have no existing plans to offer it.

We always encourage research before purchasing, to include watching independent product reviews and proper ballistic lab provided ballistic resistance tests. We post these in each product description.
