    Quickest to get into Carrier?

Hello, I was looking around your site comparing my carrier package options and I have a question.

My Carrier will be simply for home defense carrying a holster, tourniquet pouch and a few magazines. It seems to me the cummerbund is what prevents getting IN to the carrier quickly. Are the Sentry & Urban-Go the only "full size" (so not a Micro) models without cummerbunds or are they removable on other models?

Also what is the difference between Sentry and Urban-Go? The descriptions make them sound very similar.

Thank you for your help, I have heard nothing but great things about your service, products, and pricing; and the How-To videos were very helpful for someone like me who doesn't wear armor professionally!

Apologies for the delayed response! We definitely recommend the sentry plate carrier for that role, as you are correct in that it will take a little longer to get into a carrier with a cummerbund. We actually ran a shot clock towards the end of this video donning and doffing the Sentry vs. Banshee:

Keep in mind the OPII & Banshee Cummerbund can be removed and ran in a configuration similar to the sentry, but you'll pay a little extra to have the cummerbund, which can be used at any time. That will allow you to run side armor should you choose down the road.

The Sentry is an upgraded version with a mesh inner lining, better padded shoulders, and an overall more streamlined designed. The Urban Go is designed to be a quick, easy, and very affordable solution, the Sentry will be more comfortable during longer duration of actually being in the carrier.

We hope that helps! Don't hesitate to let us know if you have any other questions.

    Take care!
