Magazine reliability

I am considering the purchase of a Diablo upper in 7.62x39 and a ZK upper in 5.45x39. Are the magazines produced for ARs in these calibers reliable? if not, would you recommend a dedicated lower such as the MGI with inter -changable mag wells or the AR47?

The newer gen C-Products 7.62x39 work pretty well.

The 5.45 AR mags I have been using recently seem to work fine.

The AR47 website states that the AR upper receiver and bolt carriers have to be modified to work with the AR47 lower.

MGI is a nice solution, but if I recall you also have to use their proprietary upper, which is slightly modified internally to take the wider AK mags.
