Which buffer tube/spring for 6.8 GPU?

Hi guys, Im gathering parts for when the 6.8 GPU I ordered in Jan is done. Just need one or two last things, specifically buffer tube and springs. Ill be running my 6.8 with a UBR, can you point me in the right direction? BTW my upper is going to be 16" with side charger, if that makes any difference. Thanks, James.

Hi James,

The UBR already comes with a buffer tube, so you are covered there.

I normally test the 6.8 GPU's with a standard Mil-spec Carbine Buffer and Spring.

If you are planning on shooting combat loads like those from SSA, you might have to switch to a H Buffer.

When I test your individual upper, I will be using SSA 115 Grain OTM commercial loads.
