    Sight install?

    Hey Ventura,

I'll need two sets of sights installed in the next few weeks. One set is night sights for a Shield and the other is to reinstall the Trapezoid sights on my Steyr.. Both are dove tail type. Anyone know a place that will install them and not charge an arm and a leg? The two places I've used in the past are no longer in business. :-(

    Thanks,

    RM

You may want to try Griswold Bros.
I have never used them but they are listed as gunsmiths. Their site say precision rifles and I read somewhere that they built rifles for the show Top Shot.
I personally held one of their rifles at islandview.
I guess it won't hurt to call them and ask.

I did call them. The quoted cost per install was almost as much as the sights themselves.

Matt is awesome, he has done several projects for me but I have called him three times this year and he was buried each time and asked me to check back with him in a couple of months. He has a day job and is in the middle of several custom rifle builds so I don't think he has much time for general gunsmithing jobs.
