Looks like Ventura Police Dept's K9 deivison is selling $10 raffle tickets as part of the Bark Out Loud Comedy Night Fundraiser.

The raffle is for a Sig Sauer P226 Elite 9mm Dark with "High Capacity Magazine"

Flyer is attached, raffles on sale until 19 July, drawing is 19 July. Don't need to be present to win.

Wouldn't know how to go about flagging down a K9 handler to get a ticket though!? ...without getting proned out, that is.

Enough jokes, maybe they can leave a batch of tickets with IVE, then we could pick em up there. Or come out to the monthly and sell some?

How does that work in a raffle (do they give you a 10 round mag in its stead)?

If you're not exempt you're not walking out with the OEM mags. Maybe they'll substitute ten rds, maybe no mags at all. If you were to win and be unhappy, I'd gladly take it off your hands for the full amount of $10.

I see a bit of false advertising here. They really should have made the LCM issue a little clearer. That said, I'd buy a ticket know I would not get the mags.
