Are there any classes for using a fire arm, tactics from newbie to advanced that take place in VTA county? I would like to get some training on how to be a better and more dynamic shooter. These courses could be done by a range or a group such as Z.E.R.T. I haven't found much on the internet. If there are some good ones, what are they?

I haven't taken any of their classes, but my buddy teaches with them and he says good things. The instructors are all Santa Paula cops.

+1 on TACFIRE. I've done most of their classes and try to attend the monthly practice sessions.

PFTA in Oxnard, look them up on Facebook. I know the owner and trained with him for over a year before moving out of state.
