Can I shoot on my own land in San Diego county? (Valley Center)

I'm looking at buying 10+ acres in the valley center area and was wondering what the rules are.

I looked up the Sherriff's Shooting Map and in my interpretation of it, I should be good, but it's not something I'm willing to roll the dice on and was hoping someone here has experience with this or is the know.

    Appreciate y'all in advance.

You may inquire what their interpretation is. Most areas that are in some type of water district are prohibited.

Call or stop in at the sheriff's office

Per County and SDSO, shooting on private property in the unincorporated area is A-ok. Just need to do it with appropriate setbacks from occupied structures and have a safe backstop. Friends and family type stuff, no business endeavors.

Wont stop the neighbors from complaining though.
