Big bear ranges

Anyone have any predictions on when the fire restrictions for the designated areas up around big bear are going to be lifted? How much rain/snow will it take?

I would think they would be lifted by now. we've gotten enough rain/snow. I would think the fire risk is low.

How are the designated spots in Big Bear? Any they accessible with a low clearance vehicle?

I second 'sunglasses' question, could I get to the range in my car? Or any standard car? Or do I need a truck to get to the range. 6 mo ago it wouldn't have mattered, but now I don't have a truck to get to a lot of places.
