    Coyote hunting.

Looking for some new spots out here in the San Bernardino area. Most places usually go are flooded with people riding bikes and quads. So calling does me no good.

Deep creek hot springs/north side. I see yotes all the time when I'm out looking for quail. Lots of bunnies and 2 bobcat sightings. Hope it helps...

Anybody looking to head out? maybe make it a group thing? grab a bite to eat afterwards? I'd love to set up a small group hunt, a couple two-way radios, and a couple different locations. PM me if interested, I've never been, but would love to go with a small group.

I'd be interested. How much are yote tags? Would a 30-30 be over kill for yotes? Also the last I heard the law on yotes are "leave em where they lay", is that still acceptable or do we have to take the carcass out the field with us? I'm not looking to hunt them if we have to lug the worthless carcass out after a kill.

oh wow, i grew up in southwest wyoming where we could not only hunt coyote but got paid a bounty for them (bring back the ears only). I didn't know hunting them out here was even an option.

If you want to have a better chance at calling them in go out in the evening and play coyote locator. If they are around they will howl back they just love to howl. That's one of the best ways to find out if it holds coyotes.
                    Good luckl

I live in Redlands on the south side near Prospect park. Saw a coyote trotting down the street...blew on my howler...it stopped in it's track and then I got out the electronic distressed rabbit call...here it comes a running to 6 ft from the back window of my house. That was pretty cool!!
