Mitsubishi plant shooting?

I've read about this place, but a lot of googled info is old. Still open? Crowded? Safe?

I'm headed to big bear this weekend and was thinking about shooting (for free) and everything up there is closed. Don't think the site across the street from Mitsubishi is under same restrictions. I could be totally wrong though.

I was under the impression this was not BLM land and you shoot there at your own risk.

You make it sound shady. Even on Blm land aren't you still shooting at your own risk. What risk are we speaking of? Is it not legal to shoot there?

Yes, it may not be legal to shoot there it may be private property. I shot there long ago but I'd really research this carefully if going up there.

This area also may be shotgun only I think large areas of the Lucerne valley are.
