Next show at Ontario Convention Center is May 2nd & 3rd 2015. We need volunteers to staff the Calguns/CGSSA Booth. It's a great opportunity to connect with other Calgunners and shooting enthusiasts while doing you're part to support the 2A community and cause. If you're interested please respond to this thread with the following:
1. What shift you're available?
SHIFT TIMES: or Sun:....08:00-12:00...&....12:00-4:00
Booth experience level: If you haven't experienced volunteering for a show and would like to come out and educate the public about Calguns.net and CGSSA... This is the event for you!
We need at least one, but preferably two volunteers for each shift or 3-4 people total for the day. You can sign up for more than one shift if you like. Depending on the # of volunteers we can be somewhat flexible with shift times so let me know if you need an adjustment and we'll try to accommodate.
To help attract attention we usually put a few rifles on display at the table. If you're able to bring a rifle, please let me know. Firearms must be unloaded and safety checked. They are for display purposes only, no sales.
Points of Interest:
You're there to represent CGSSA and will be expected to conduct yourself accordingly. Basic standards for courtesy, customer service, and professionalism apply.
No alcohol while working please.
CGSSA is about shooting and pro 2A outreach. It's generally best to avoid discussing other political topics. One of our primary goals is to get more people mobilized and involved so the last thing we want to do is potentially offend someone and turn them off. Also, we are not lawyers and cannot offer legal advice/opinion.
We want to be proactive about reaching out to people, but you may bring a fold up chair to sit in during potential down time.
People only working one shift who also wish to go into the show must do so on their own time outside of their assigned shift. Those working all day will be given time to go into the show, but I cannot guarantee a specific time. We will rotate through.
We have to pay for parking just like everyone else.

Anyone not volunteering, but attending the show please stop by the booth and introduce yourself. It's always great to put a face to the name.
