      There was a fair amount of 22 LR at the show today...at outrageous prices. I didn't feel like paying $75 for a brick so I left it all for the poor fools that deserve to be ripped off.

      I did score two cash and carry guns; a single-shot bolt action 22 (Stevens Model 53B) and a Russian M44. I was looking for but didn't find any decently priced SKS rifles (only saw ~5 total, ranging in price from $650-$900).

        Powder prices at Miwall were ridiculous. $30 for a lb of IMR4895/4064 etc..

        They managed to be $1 more expensive than Fowlers and Stockade. I mean, more expensive then Fowlers? That takes skill..

          wow, talk about ammo prices? prices just in general were through the roof. It was ridiculous. Most of those people selling ammo, are those individuals who wait out at walmart at 6 in the morning, pick up a brick of 22 for $20 and turn around and rip you off at $75-85 for 500rds....it was plain stupid

            I only purchased one rifle, one upper, 3 bayonets, 6 clips and 200 rounds of 7.62 x 54R. I was barely OK with the ammo purchase price. The good news is that these things are now mine and Yes I am going back today.

              [QUOTE=chino;12879773]Parking was $7.00!
              Reloading supplies are becoming more readily available. I arrived early, stood in line (Miwall) for an hour and was able to get several pounds of Varget, 4895, 4064 and a box of (500) .45 bullets. When I left at ~12:00, there was no line for reloading supplies, Varget was gone but 4895 and 4064 was available.
              Biggest crowd for weapons appeared to be at Quantico (San Diego

              Why did you pay for parking it was free.

                    I was working my buddy's booth (headhunter firearms) right by calgun's booth. Prices were totally unpredictable. cci 41 primers 29.00 for 1000 @ miwall, pretty good deal, 22LR cheapest I saw was 60 a brick/500 which is still crazy. I did score some hornady ammo 32 winchester special with the FTX bullets for 21 bux a box, hell I almost pay that just for the brass LOL. From what I am seeing at the shows the prices are coming down, but some people think they still have gold. We were selling BCG's for 115.00 and were negotiable if you bought more than one :-)

                      I was there yesterday and we bought a 1000 round box of winchester 556 for about 47.5 cents per round

                          I bought my first AR15 yesterday from a xoptics out of northern CA. My friend and I both bought guns from him. Pretty happy with the deal I got.

                            Hmmm...went shooting Saturday with wife and son, their first time at an indoor range and with a pistol - so that was fun. On the way out saw the discount ticket for the show and remembered it was going on. We were too late. Sunday tied up with family gig so couldn't make the show.

                            Glad to hear I didn't totally miss out.
                            Maybe I can catch the next one.
