Cheapest Place to Buy 9mm Hollow Point Ammo in Orange County Brick and Mortar?

I just called my local Big 5 and they're selling a pack of 20 hollow points for $17.99. I wasn't able to reach anyone at Walmart.

I just need a small pack of about 40. 20 to put into two magazines by the bed side, and the other 20 to fire at the range to make sure they work with my Glock 19.

I can purchase packs of 50 rounds for like $19.95 online, but it's also like $12 in shipping (according to: http://gunbot.net/ammo/pistol/9mm/)

I guess I could purchase a bunch of 9mm practice rounds as well and that'll lower the overall cost of the shipping portion.

Anyone know of any local stores prices that end up matching buying online? Or have any ammo buying strategies?

Too bad Costco doesn't sell 9mm. Then it'd make things A LOT easier

yes, and if you practice it would make the HP more effective when the time comes. Don't forget to practice one handed, weak handed, etc. I usually buy from SG ammo.
