Field Time Sports and Guns special event.

Hello guys.

We have been invited to participate at the Field Time Sports and Guns special event in Westminster on Sat., July the 27th.



I need volunteers to man the CGN/CGSSA informational booth.

This is a one day event and I would like to approach it with (3) volunteers max. per shift (morning & afternoon) as we always do at our gun shows.

The format for this event is pretty straight forward, we are going to have one 8" table, lots of informational material about our current bills and proposed legislations and some CGN promotional items.

We may need and easy up big enough to accommodate our needs since we are going to be outside the range along with our fellow "Friends of the NRA" volunteers, diverse vendors and BBQ crew.

I had a chance to stop by today and had been looking forward to it all week. What a disappointment to get there and find out the city shut them down. The Calgunners and the BBQ tents were the only things left up. Stopped by the Calguns booth to say hi and spent some time in the store. At least they still had the sale going on inside. I managed to still have a good time, the antis couldn't shut that down.

I did the same thing. The Calguns tent wasn't even up when I got there around 3:00...

City, County, State & Federal Govt. Agencies in general are there to MAKE LIFE MORE COMPLICATED, TAX2DEATH, BULLY, OVER REGULATE & BEAT UP PRIVATE CITIZENS & BUSINESSES! LOOK AT THE BANKRUPT CORPORATIONS THAT ARE OVER REGULATED. LOOK AT THE CITIES THAT FILED MUNICIPAL BANKRUPTCY, CHAPTER 9. Richmond Ca(a junkyard by the river, North California). Stockton Ca a city managed by Govt. Dummies that never ran a business ever! SPOS! San Bernardino, Ca. A City that was the dumping ground for "probation officers" of So. California. Landlords, renters and business left the town due to safety and govt. neglect. Detroit Mi. The septic tank of Michigan. Govt. agencies choked the residents & businesses to death! If you run a business in California, it's like Iraq & Afghanistan every day! But with paper, taxes, regulations, inspections, litigation, BS and Civil & Criminal Courts. That's why Govt. messes up jobs.... Look at the feds. Really messed up. Westminster City is a small example of "govt. bureaucrats" going bonkers! If you think I don't have any experience with this, check my bio out, the blue "LINK" below. 100's of apartments, 36 commercial buildings, 100's of condos & homes, 23,000+ acres.... I felt really bad for the Business Owner, Bob. He was more than pissed at the neighbors, City Hall, and so sorry for the vendors.... and the refunds too.

Yea, even thought the city rained on our parade, we still had a great time, got the word out about Calguns and we raised a bunch of money for Wounded Warrior with Wildman Bob volunteering his time on the BBQ!

The family that owns Field Time Sports and Guns are great people and they gave booth space to Calguns free of charge. To say they have been supportive of Calguns and the future of the shooting sports is an understatement. Our thanks to Field Time for hosting the event and helping us fight the good fight.

So what happened? I know how they do it (I work with them everyday), but why did they do it this time?

More of the same old, same old - "Blah, blah, blah, permits, yadda, yadda yadda, restrictions, blah, blah, blah, revenue and bloated overweight under-funded pension...I mean permits, yadda, yadda, yadda"?

They said we needed a special permit to sell anything in the parking lot so we pulled all the vendors inside.
