That's good to know that I was wrong about not being able to pick up my own brass. Again, I wasn't trying to misinform anyone but that's what I read on the net.

      frozen sanity:

i notice you are regularly defending oaktree in your less than ten posts. new to shooting and you know everything already?!?!

no problem that you insult me - thats fine call me a liar too, no problem. think i dont know what im talking about.... sure like i care what you think.

those things did happen to me and they are jerks their. you can enjoy your time their and leave angeles to the rest of us. I like how you have no comment on their armatrix fiasco. after you defend them in your other posts. you clearly get allot of love and admiration from fellow calguners

im an uneducated shooter - thats too funny. you dont know me and thats the way we can keep it. you are just full of keyboard jockey.

the rifle range was open when I called and traveled their on purpose for their wack 100 yards. It was closed b/c the cops where shooting full auto and didnt have anyone else their. you can come to angeles and try to hit 600 yards too. I dont HATE the way you do. i doubt you have even attempted to shoot that far.

      heres their price list:

      real fair pricing huh?

i have competed in many different shooting events. from skeet tourneys to IDPA, 3 gun, etc.

and why does that line about the fact that they sell beer their tell you i'm an uneducated shooter??? you go ahead and get boozed up and go shoot their all you want. id feel really safe standing next to you

these things did happen to me and I wont be going back their. you can enjoy those racist people all you want. ive been shooting for many years and Im a certified NRA instructor and have worked for an FFL for several years. I RSO at private ranges all the time, as well as many Calguns events. I teach gun safety and am a certified CA DOJ instructor. I dont know if they have changed their rules b/c I havent gone back their since feb of 2014 thanks for calling me a liar, you stay classy

Santamonica9, with all the grammar mistakes I am unsure if you are serious or if you have become a complete troll. :-) By the way, thanks for reminding me about the armatix thread, I completely forgot all about it.

In my less than 10 posts you are right, I have defended Oak Tree more than I would prefer. So I will let this die too because frankly you aren't worth my time. :-)

I like A Place To Shoot because some of the ranges don't have Range Officers constantly looking over your shoulder.

Seems like different folks have quite opposite experiences from the 2 ranges.
I have always been treated pleasantly at Oaktree. The RO even sweeps my brass in a pile for me if I tell them that i'm keeping.
I know "santamonica9" as a stand up and nice Guy. Surprised that he was treated poorly.
Angeles shooting range in sylmar is where my brass is constantly in danger of being robbed by the high school kid ROs. I complained to the office several times with no positive effects. They want to take your brass and sell it. And they are pushy to the point of making a pest of themselves.
Remember the long post about the oakley guy at angels??
