Seeking Clarification: 1 Gun Per 30 Days

If I am not mistaken, we in California are limited in our purchases to one handgun purchase per 30 calendar days. My question today is when does the 30 day clock start? Is it 30 days from the end of the DROS period and you go home with your gun?

    Thanks.

The countdown starts at the time listed on your DROS paperwork. If it states time being 3:57PM, then after 30 24hr periods from that point, you can DROS a new HG purchase.

Say you buy and DROS a new HG today at 8am, then your next opportunity to DROS another new HG would be on August 1st no time before 8:01 am.

1/30 also only applies to dealer sales. PPT and Consignment do not count. make sure the clerk does the DROS correctly.

id still wait an extra day just b/c i dont trust gov employees....think DMV. too lazy to notice the time
