My wife "encouraged" me to sell my firearms about 12 years ago, right before our first child was born. Now that I have two daughters, I have convinced her that owning at least a few is necessary...(you dads with daughters understand this)...
I recently started purchasing a few firearms, and got my first AR. I'm planning on shooting up at "A Place to Shoot" in Santa Clarita. I've purchased the following rounds on line:
1. Federal XM193 NATO 5.56 55gr FMJ (www.natchezss.com)
2. .223 Rem ARMSCOR USA 55 Grain FMJ Bullet (cheaperthandirt.com)
I've read that "metal jacketed" rounds are not allowed. I'm assuming that what I've purchased is "metal jacketed." Can someone educate me on this? Thanks in advance...and yes, I can't seem to stay off these forums now that I have an AR...
