Looking for a FFL to install a bullet button

I have a friend who won a bid for an AW he lives here in Ca. The rifle is coming from Florida I told him he had to have a bullet button installed on the rifle before it ships. I doubt he did can anyone recommend a FFL who can do this I know there aren't many with the proper license. Looking for the Los Angeles area.

Dude you can do it yourself it's easy; I did it and I'm a newb to AR's. Bought the bullet button and the install tool from Amazon; anyone can do it.

problem is that it has to be done BEFORE it gets to the buyer. It needs to be done out of state, or by a CA-licensed AW dealer. otherwise it is the illegal importation and possession of an AW.

His options are to have the seller install the magazine lock (ship one to him for him to install), ship it to a CA AW dealer, ship it to an FFL middleman willing to make it a non-AW (disassemble or install mag lock), or have the seller break it down into an non-AW and ship it to the buyer's FFL.

Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?

That's what I'm looking for a Ca. FFL with the right license to do it here. My friend is trying to contact the seller to see if he'll install the bullet button before shipping. I told him it had to be done this way but he ot excited when he saw an AR going for MSRP.

Try calling OC Armory in Lake Forrest, may be a bit of a drive but definitely worth it

from what I understand they're an 07 FFL so maybe they can take the "AW" and put a bullet button before starting DROS
