    ?
Dress cleanly, I went in a suit and tie.
    Know your application answers.
    Answer Yes, or No.
They will confirm answers on your application.
Mine was a 10-15 min process, verifying the answers on my application.

Bring everything the IA asks for. Check the list twice. Be on time or a few minutes early. Dress respectfully (no camo, 511 cargo pants, no shirt with a graphics or words on it). Treat all staff, including the admin staff, with respect. Bring a pen. Don't parse anything, at all, ever. Tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, meaning don't leave anything out when answering their questions.

After reviewing the question on the form, this should be easy.

            Curtis's 7 Steps for Success:

            1. Wear a shirt with at least one American flag and at least one bald eagle on it OR a shirt with the Gadsden flag on it.
            2. Wear either a MAGA hat OR a camo hat with the words "Shall Not Be Infringed" on it.
            3. Keep your phone in front of your face the entire time from start to finish to make it not look like you "want it too much".
            4. Do your best to try to integrate the movies "Taxi Driver" and "Joker" into every answer.
            5. Make sure to ask every officer, "So how many people have you killed?". This shows initiative that you are taking an interest in their profession of law enforcement and how serious you will take the responsibility of walking around with a deadly weapon.
            6. Make sure to speak excessively loud and overenunciate your answers like when people who only speak English talk to foreigners (who very obviously don't understand English) but think talking louder does something to solve this problem.
            7. Forget steps 1-6 and act normal. Answer as truthfully as you did when you submitted your application 2 years ago.

              Hahahahaha

I dressed as I always dress. If I'm wearing a suit, it's either a wedding or a funeral, or maybe my kid is graduating (least likely though).

My impression the interview was nothing more than going over the answers on the application, and anything else you might like to add or clarify.

My impression is the background is really only able to go after dirt that will disqualify an applicant that are not black and white in criminal history that will come up in a systems check anyway.

                1) Drug use.
                2) Threat to themselves or others

This is the opportunity IA's can get under the surface for those who have been lucky with the law so far.

thats pretty much it. just go over all your answers or something you may have forgot. or want more clarification.
you can dress up it doesnt hurt. a polo and jeans would work

I truly don't think they care what you wear. Your not applying to work for them. It's straight forward mine was in and out basic questions.

Are you involved in any gang activities
Have you been involved in street racing
Etc etc don't over think it

My interview was over the phone with LA country. Was very relaxed. Now I?m waiting for an approval letter.
