A good friend of mine just got furloughed and is moving to NV. He is moving Friday evening. He has agreed to gift me his off-roster, but legally held Smith & Wesson 45 shield. The catch is I need to find a dealer open for PTT between now and then, preferably by him in the Fullerton area, but if not near there, somewhere between there and San Fernando Valley (where I am at).
From what I read, it sounds like he must be on site at the FFL to start the transaction.
Any ideas on places to check in to? I already tried several of the FFL's in his area (Aces pawn, Applied Kinetics, Turners...) they are either Covid-closed, fully booked for weeks for appointments or are not doing any PTT's for now due to the DOJ dropping the ball.
I don't mind waiting whatever amount of time it takes for the ***** to clear the fan. I just want to get the process started so my friend doesn't have to come back in to CA again to make this happen.
