    Anyone want Wolff 7.62x39mm?

I have a few boxes of bi-metal steel case Wolf 7.62x39mm that I'm looking to clear out of my closet.

I'm located in Burbank and attend the monthly Calguns shoot at The Firing Line, if you want to meet up there.

Private citizens can sell/give away up to 500 rounds a month. Anything more has to be done through a shop. (Of which Burbank has three.)

          Is that what you meant?

Where in the PC is the exemption for 500 rounds? I'd like to tell my customers that are transferring less than that they don't need to see me.

                All I can find is:

I don't see the exemption there. Is it in another section?

I'd prefer to recoup at least some of the cost. I'm willing to sell at a lower price or barter.

So far, I've seen this references in a few locations:

                  RocketFFL
Q: What are the new California ammunition laws?

A: Beginning January 1, 2018, all ammunition sales must occur in face-to-face transactions (no online ammunition sales in California) and the seller needs a valid Ammunition Vendor License in order to sell more than 500 rounds of ammunition in any 30-day period.

                  Ammunition in California

California has recently enacted new laws regarding ammunition sales due to the passing of their Proposition 63. As you can see in the Q&A above, there are two major changes to the way ammunition is treated in California:

Ammunition sales in California must occur in face-to-face transactions, and
Certain sellers of ammunition in California need an Ammunition Vendor License.

                  Ammunition Sales Restrictions

Beginning Jan. 1, 2018 any individual with the intent of selling 500 (+) rounds of ammo during any given month is obligated to obtain and a business license issued by California.
Giffords Law Center (bear with me)
Proposition 63 will supersede AB 962 and will apply to all ammunition sales. More specifically:

Beginning January 1, 2018, individuals who sell more than 500 rounds of ammunition in any month will be required to obtain an annual state-issued business license3 and will be required to conduct ammunition sales at specified business locations or gun shows.4 The California Department of Justice (“DOJ”) will start accepting applications for ammunition vendor business licenses on July 1, 2017.5

The stuff you quoted doesn't say anything about < 500 rounds doesn't need to occur at a dealer. It just says < 500 rounds and you don't need an ammo vendors license. The PC defines "face-to-face" as meeting at an FFL even for private party transactions and "transferring" not just "selling".. At least that's how I read it.

In any case, I won't tell my customers any different for now.

                    Thanks
