I've been known to pack some tamales on range trips around Christmas time.

But I've also been called a heathen for putting beans in my chili.

Hey guys just wanted to see how many fellow Mexicans with firearms. Sound off!

I am from a very large Family we all own guns and we are all at least 2 nd generation American.

im quite fond of the term "beaner" myself.

i got some toys and i love to go hunting!

I always refer to myself as a beaner it is a term of endearment. I also hunt and am an enthusiast.

Pride In heritage is strong with Mexicans, my wife is Itallian and shares the same national pride for her heritage. Saying that you no longer give any credence to your heritage is just silly.

Actually, I don't think it is.

When I make chile verde or chile colorado I never use beans. I'm pretty sure that "caucasionized" chili is most commonly recognized as having beans in it.
