Closest BLM shooting to LA or OC?

I know this has been discussed before but I'd like to go soon out and BLM shoot, bring my own fruits, targets etc and have fun with it.

Where's the closest to OC / LA? I live in Westminster.

I've heard people say, Barstow or Palm Springs, which is the closest? The closer the better.

The palm springs place technically isn't legal from everything I could gather, and from Westminster Barstow is closer.

Can you shoot AR-s on Hodge Road? How many miles off the freeway? Can you drink beer out there?

Hodge road is the best. Legal and you know you're out city limits. About 1:45hrs from SGV. Worth the drive. I'm going next Sun. If you wanna join us. PM me. AND we do drink beer after the shooting is done and we're hanging out. The only thing is trash bags mandatory. I like my spot and want to continue to use it.

palm springs area isnt illegal, but make sure you do your research about the area.

I know a of place in palm desert (5 mins away from palm springs) that is pretty cool. ...... but im not going to tell you where it is, ill let you find it (not that hard, i found it through info on CG)

but I wouldnt drive all the way there just to shoot .... If you were going there to party at a resort then I bring my guns.

Lake Elsinore Steele peak if its still open might be closer to OC, not much though

Nice! So cops don't care if your out there drinking copious amounts of beer? Sounds like my kinda place.

I'm not saying they don't care, but is it easily to get away with. I wanna go shooting at Hodge Road and drink some beer, it seems pretty plain, simple and generally a damn good time. Agreed?
