If you have a legally transferred/taxed SBR masterkey, then yes, you can legally attach it to your AR and use it at a range.

Some ranges might freak out, but legally there is no problem with it.

    PICS BTW!!!

Laws that forbid the carrying of arms...disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes...Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man.

+1 on the pics!! I don't think I've ever ran into someone, internet or real-life, who owned a masterkey.

Imagine an M4 carbine with a Remington 870 under the barrel. Awesome, no?

Google image "M4 masterkey" (without the quotes) and you'll get a bunch of pics.

            M4 Masterkey

looks like shooting the shotgun would be a real pain though.

What's the OAL of the 870?
Lord, make my hand fast and accurate.
Let my aim be true and my hand faster
than those who would seek to destroy me.
Grant me victory over my foes and those who wish to do harm to me and mine.

If it's fixed under you gun and stockless it might qualify as a class III destructive device. I'd double check the legal applications of your setup.
