Where and how can I get out to the NV desert and shoot? How do I know where to go? I don't wanna get in some trouble or do any of you have a prefered place to go out in the desert? Let me know, I just want an open space where I can rapid fire and just shoot at cans, milk gallons, and pumpkins!

You might want to start by looking at:

You'll probably need to send for the up-to-date maps. I know that the BLM is in the midst of doing some "land swaps" in Nevada, and they've leased out a lot of OUR land over the past decade, but the up-to-date maps should give you a fairly good idea of where you can still do some recreational shooting.

In most of the state it really doen't matter. In Clark County it can be important. Why don't you PM some people who have posted about shooting in Nevada near where you are headed and asking? People might give directions to where they shoot in that locale?


BTW: where to shoot in AZ / NV gets posted quite often. I'd suggest a sticky, but...
