so I'm thinking of heading out to the range in piru tomorrow to test out my rifle reloads. I've never been so I'm looking for feedback on it from those that have. do they have paper targets up or available to buy or do I need to bring my own? anything unusual or special I should know about it? thanks.

They provide generic bullseye targets, bring your own if you want something different. -
Turn-off to the dirt road is kinda easy to miss your first time. If you see a big sign on the right with way more words than you can possibly read at 40MPH, that's the road you just missed.
You're going to drive a ways up a canyon on a "decent" dirt road, generally sticking to the straight or slightly left, eventually you'll see a small sign or two for Appleseed or Cowboy Action events and you are there.Comment

<4 years till retirement, can't wait to leave this state
California, where all of the good stuff is banned, registered, regulated or prohibited, yay.....
Law abiding firearm owners have no chance in this state.
