Camp Pendleton Pistol and Rifle Range Update

I just wanted to share with everyone out there.
Camp Pendleton Recently reopened Range 102-A for pistols .45 and below and for rifle .223 and below.

Do you need to military to use this range??? any idea how long the rifle range is?? I live in Oceanside so Pendleton is super close!

course...after I get out of the Marines, they open it back up...I used to go here with my buddys during work hours...for....classes...haha

On that page:

Recreational Shooting is open for active duty personnel and their families, retired military, authorized DoD personnel and guests.

You're going to need to be there with a military ID holder.

The Santa Margarita Gun Club holds matches at Camp Pendleton (Wilcox 103 and Range 117) which are open to civilians (you get clearance to enter the base for matches).

If you're just wanting to shoot mid-range, the Mid-Range 3x600 matches are easy to shoot (three relays of 20 rounds each shot at 600 yards; you can shoot traditional Mid-Range with sling or F-Class with a front rest).
