*No guest passes or sharing of lanes for shooting events this afternoon.
No gun pick-ups, or transfers this Saturday.

DESTROY THE LIVING DEAD ZOMBIE
Get ready to defend yourself from the LIVING DEAD. Come join us on May 4th, as we prepare to destroy all sorts of Zombies, courtesy of ZOMBIE INDUSTRIES.

Every shooter will get the opportunity to unload as much lead as they can for 15-20 minutes. Be sure to only bring your pistols or pistol-caliber rifles (no AR-15's or other rifle calibers this afternoon).

SATURDAY
MAY 4th

10:00-2:00 - regular shooting
2:00-5:00 - zombie shoot & competition
5:00-8:00 - eating & live music

They will also have free BBQ, live band, shooting lanes just for kids, membership discounts and ammo raffle. A pistol "Top Shot" competition with these prizes to choose from:
a) 1 Annual Individual Membership (or renewal)
b) Rossi 22lr / 20ga Combo Rifle / Shotgun
c) FMK AR-15 Polymer Lower Receiver

I will be there, we'll be driving up from Sacramento. I shot there last year and it is a beautiful facility, everyone was really cool. I had a great time. Looking forward to whackin some zombies,

They're good guys. They have a 25yd rifle section now. They're letting CGF/FPC setup a table too.

Looks like Glock is having a rep there too.

It was a nice time! The Glock Rep inspected my pistols, changed out a couple springs that were worn from use, no charge! I watched him replace trigger bars, pins, other pieces that were either worn or had been updated on other folks pistols. All free! He would always ask permission to replace the worn parts.
The food and music was good, turnout could have been better but for a first time event, it was good!
Nice prizes too!

I would like to thanks the guys and girls at The Firing Line for a great day of fun, Zombie killin, BBQ'n live music and a great Competition Match. My wife and I came down from Sacramento to the Open House and had a lot of fun, also I was able to meet some fellow Calguns members. Thanks again and I will see you in a couple of weeks.

The shooting competition was very popular. Course of fire was pretty basic. 30 rounds at the X on the large Silhouette target, 10 each at 3-7-10 yards, no time limit.
The prizes for top three finishers were a stripped AR lower, a Rossi .22/20ga. youth rifle, and a years membership.
