Tactical Rifle Match at Escondido Fish and Game

EFGA is hosting a new tactical style rifle match starting Saturday April 13th 2013 at 8:00am. This match is an all steel target, rapid fire match geared toward AR-15 styled rifles. Mini 14's, M1 carbines, and AK 47 style guns are OK to shoot as well as other semi-auto rifles. Sorry no .308(7.62x51) or larger calibers allowed. Also, no steel core or green tip 5.56 ammo is allowed.(Our range enforces a no steel core ammo rule.) We are not allowing rimfire guns for this match. All rifles must comply to California law. The match consists of 4 eighteen round stages. Shooters will need along with their rifles 3 mags, and 72 rounds of ammo. Bypods and slings are allowed, but not required. Target ranges are 50, 75, and 100 yards. Firing positions will be standing, kneeling or sitting, and prone. This match is open to the general shooting public.
