I noticed on all of the pictures of the steel shoot they are shooting on a tarp. Do you know if they let you collect your brass after each round?

I've shot there. You are actually REQUIRED to police your brass after each round.

It basically goes: shooters line up (usually no more than 6), line goes hot until everyone runs dry or stops shooting, line goes cold, brass is policed and targets are reset, new shooters line up, and so on.

If you've never shot the match before they will give you a "new shooter" intro. Basically a safety walk-through and you shoot a target array to prove you're capable and safe. They usually only do this the first two Saturdays of the month.

                "Holster Required (except soft-nylon styles)"

                What exactly does that mean?

Kydex or Pancake that covers the trigger guard. More and more Shooting Sports are banning the Serpa Holsters due to folks who have no or little control of their trigger fingers. AKA "Glock Leg" Soft Nylon holster do not belong in competitive shooting.

                    OK, that makes sense.

They should change the wording to something a little more comprehensible - like "soft holsters prohibited".
